I bought tile adhesive is that the right stuff to use?

Putting tile on my wall in the bathroom behind my sink and toilet only. To adhere it to the wall the guy at the hardware store sold me tile adhesive is that the correct stuff to use? I also have bought unsanded grout for in between because im using a smaller spacer than 1/8".
