Stealing my car back after a tow?

So i live in a little truck stop town in minnesota, aparently they were plowing my apartment building lot on saturday morning and had my car towed away like a mile to some auto shop that does towing and what not and i didnt realize till sunday morning so i went there to pay and get it back and they were closed. My car was justsitting there alone, no boot, not inside their inpound lot area, just sitting there. not going to wait till monday and call in to work and get in trouble so i took it back, can anything happen
