I was ually Hared at work and fired after taking this to a manager...?
My boss made a ually inappropriate comment about me to another coworker and this coworker brought it to my attention. I went to the my bosses boss about the matter and he ured me I did not need to take this to HR at the head office. He said he would handle it and ensured me it would never happen again. As a result my manager started to physiologically abuse me by demising my job and my ability to do my job. He began sending condescending emails to me ( I have copies of them all) and questioning my ability to do my job. The last 3 months have been very hard. It's been non stop tormenting from him. This has made it very hard to do my job as I'm a sales executive and I need to be in a good mood for my customers. My boss is also intimidated by me as I'm more experienced then him (7 years in sales and worked at the director level). Also it's been discussed that I will be taking over his bosses job as publisher when he retires in a year. My customers love me and have stopped dealing with them since my dismissal as well have phoned to voice there opinion to the publisher (my managers boss). I was fired with no explanation and I have contacted HR at the head office. They are doing an investigation as we speak. I am just wondering what I should expect. Will I be compensated? I would like my job back..... Anyway any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
