My 1 month old HATES the car seat!!! WHAT DO I DO?

My one month old absolutley hates the car seat. Each time my husband or I put him in, he cries as if some one is pulling him limb by limb. Ive tried everything from making sure the music isnt too loud, to buying an extra pillow, and making sure the temp isnt too hot or too cold. I dont know what to do. When he's not in the car seat, he's the sweetest baby. This makes me not want to travel with him because of him always crying hysterically. HELLLPPPP!!!
