Need opinions. Why would he say this?

A lot of times people say things that they really mean, followed by "I'm just kidding." It's like where do they get those thoughts. Guys are bad at communicating! haha. Seriously though, he probably does like you "more" or maybe he had a great time and is now realizing he likes you more. Good luck.
