My car is making a sqeaky noise from the engine and its not a belt. It makes the noise for alittlebit?

then stops for alittle and then it will come back. My car runs fine, just as it did before the noise. It sounds like maybe something is loose. You can really notice when i start my car. What do you think it is? Its almost like a sqeaky chiming noise. Any clue what it could be my fellow mechanics?
