The Catholic Church has done good things?

I see you have been aulted by the usual atheist and protestant bigotry. It was the Catholic Church that rescued civilization from the dark ages after the fall of Rome. The Church created the university system that is still in use, and the Church was the 1st to begin educating women. The Church has funded arts and sciences for over a thousand years. The Church was the only buffer between the commoners and the ruling cl in medieval Europe. The Church lands were farmed by the poor for very little rent, which was paid in food and produce. The Church was the catalyst that saved Europe from conquest by the Muslims in their 1st jihad. It was the Church that civilized the Vandals Vikings, Goths and Visigoths and Magyars and many other barbarian nations who came into contact with the Church. The Church has done countless good things in Her 2000 year history, and She continues to be the worlds leading charitable institution taking care of the poor around the world, regardless of creed.
