How can I improve the performance of my AEG without affecting the FPS?

I have an ARES SCAR-L and would like to improve the performance (ROF, Accuracy, Range), but would like to keep the FPS the same (as I've got it at a nice sweet spot). It is fresh out of the box (no upgrades fitted). What kind of upgrades/enhancements should I look for?
