Why is football the most exciting and biggest sport in the world?

THere is something special that has made the NFL the most important,. biggest and most exciting sports product on the planet. Some say its the manliness and macho hits which allow men to feel really manly and tough while not being as big of a risk as boxing, and some say its the non-stop statistics (every play has yards, touchdowns or fieldgoals to get excited over).
